Owner Michael Hleck

I grew up on a family farm in the area of Quill Lake, Saskatchewan. My father was a farmer, musician, car collector, and small scrap metal recycler. I started working on a local farm, and at 17 years old, I began working in Northern Manitoba on the Diamond drills. Eventually, I moved to the seismic rigs in Saskatchewan, which led me to the Alberta drilling rig industry for a couple of years. To finish my education, I enrolled in school in Regina while alternating back and forth on the drilling rigs until I graduated. After acquiring some farming equipment, I spent the next four years farming while working in Alberta and bought the family farm during this time period. With a total of eighteen years of experience in the Canadian drilling industry, as well as four years of experience overseas, I returned home to raise my family. Like my father, I started a scrap metal recycling business.
